HADITH

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah.

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu.

Hadith 1 

Narrated 'Ali (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "Do not tell a lie against me for whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally) then he will surely enter the Hell-fire."

Sahih Bukhari:Volume 1, Book 3, Number 106

Hadith 2

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "When your servant brings your food to you, if you do not ask him to join you, then at least ask him to take one or two handfuls, for he has suffered from its heat (while cooking it) and has taken pains to cook it nicely."

Hadith 3

Narrated Ibn Masud (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

I heard the Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) saying, "There is no envy except in two: a person whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (i.e. religious knowledge) and he gives his decisions accordingly and teaches it to the others."

Hadith 4
Narrated Ibn 'Umar (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles)

1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle.
2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.
3. To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity).
4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca)
5. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan.

Hadith 5

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The biggest sins are: To
join others in worship with Allah; to be undutiful to one's parents; to
kill somebody unlawfully; and to take a false oath."

Hadith 6

Narrated 'Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakra (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)Abu Bakra (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)wrote to his son who was in Sijistan: "Do not judge between two persons when you are angry, for I heard the Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) saying, "A judge should not judge between two persons while he is in an angry mood."

Hadith 7

The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, Whoever wears silk in this world shall not wear it in the Hereafter."

Hadith 8

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

I was with the Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) and the time for the 'Asr prayer became due. We had no water with us except a little which was put in a vessel and was brought to the Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) . He (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) put his hand into it and spread out his fingers and then said, "Come along! Hurry up! All those who want to perform ablution. The blessing is from Allah.'' I saw the water gushing out from his fingers. So the people performed the ablution and drank, and I tried to drink more of that water (beyond my thirst and capacity), for I knew that it was a blessing. The sub-narrator said: I asked Jabir, "How many persons were you then?" He replied, "We were one-thousand four hundred men." Salim said: Jabir said, 1500.

Hadith 9

Narrated Abu Talha (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)


I heard Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) saying; "Angels (of Mercy) do not enter a house wherein there is a dog or a picture of a living creature (a human being or an animal)."

Hadith -10

Narrated Kab (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant, which the wind bends lt sometimes and some other time it makes it straight. And the example of a hypocrite is that of a pine tree which keeps straight till once it is uprooted suddenly.

Hadith -11

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira(May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with them)

The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."

HADITH - 12

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "Whoever has the following four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up.

1. Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays.

2. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.

3. Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous.

4. Whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner."

HADITH - 13

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: He who issues forth in search of knowledge is busy in the cause of Allah till he returns from his quest.

HADITH – 14

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radiyallaahu `anhu), The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,

“Allah will prepare for him who goes to the mosque (every) morning and in the afternoon (for the congregational prayer) an honorable place in Paradise with good hospitality for (what he has done) every morning and afternoon goings.”

Sahih Bukhari. Volume 1, Book 11, Number 631.

 

Hadith - 15 

 

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him) 

The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "Give food to the hungry, pay a visit to the sick and release (set free) the one in captivity (by paying his ransom)."

Hadith – 16

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):


Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said,

"Allah says, 'If My slave intends to do a bad deed then
 (O Angels) do not write it unless he does it;
 if he does it, then write it as it is, but if he refrains from
doing it for My Sake, then write it as a good deed (in his account). (On
the other hand) if he intends to go a good deed, but does not do it, then
write a good deed (in his account), and if he does it, then write it for
him (in his account) as ten good deeds up to seven-hundred times.' "

Bukhari Vol. 9 : No. 592



Hadith – 17

The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the nights.”

Sahih Al Bukhari – Volumn I, Hadith 8


Hadith – 18


The Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said,
“A believer must not hate his wife, and if he is displeased with one bad quality in her, then let him be pleased with one that is good in her.”

Hadith – 19

Narrated Ma'qil (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

I heard the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "Any man whom
 Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look
 after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of
 Paradise."

Hadith -20

Narrated Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

The Prophet  (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) used to take care of us in preaching by selecting a suitable time, so that we might not get bored. (He abstained from pestering us with sermons and knowledge all the time).

Hadith -21

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said:

Hadith -22

Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

I heard the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "On the Day of
Resurrection I will intercede and say, 'O my Lord! Admit into Paradise
(even) those who have faith equal to a mustard seed in their hearts.' Such
people will enter Paradise, and then I will say, 'O (Allah) admit into
Paradise (even) those who have the least amount of faith in their hearts.'

Anas then said: As if I were just now looking at the fingers of Allah's
Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam).


Bukhari Vol. 9 : No. 600

Hadith -23

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "By Him in Whose Hands my life is, none of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father and his children."

Hadith -24

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne, "My Mercy overpowers My Anger

Hadith -25 
(1st March 2012)

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

A bedouin came to the Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) and said, "O Allah's Apostle! What are the biggest sins?: The Prophet said, "To join others in worship with Allah." The bedouin said, "What is next?" The Prophet said, "To be undutiful to one's parents." The bedouin said "What is next?" The Prophet said "To take an oath 'Al-Ghamus." The bedouin said, "What is an oath 'Al-Ghamus'?" The Prophet said, "The false oath through which one deprives a Muslim of his property (unjustly)."

Hadith -26

Narrated 'Aisha (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with her)

A man said to the Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) , "My mother died suddenly, and I think that if she could speak, she would have given in charity. May I give in charity on her behalf?" He said, "Yes! Give in charity on her behalf."

Hadith -27

Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "My Lord says, 'If My
slave comes nearer to me for a span, I go nearer to him for a cubit; and if
he comes nearer to Me for a cubit, I go nearer to him for the span of
outstretched arms; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' "

Hadith -28

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) was the most generous of all
the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of
Ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night of
Ramadan to teach him the Qur'an. Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa
Sallam) was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong
uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds)
.

Hadith -29

Narrated Abu Musa (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Some people asked Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam), "Whose
Islam is the best? i.e. (Who is a
very good Muslim)?" He replied, "One who avoids harming the Muslims with
his tongue and hands."

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "There are two blessings which many people lose: (They are) Health and free time for doing good."

Hadith - 33

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "The one who looks after a widow or a poor person is like a Mujahid (warrior) who fights for Allah's Cause, or like him who performs prayers all the night and fasts all the day."

Hadith - 34
 
 
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):


The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A Muslim is the one who

avoids harming Muslims with his tongue and hands. And a Muhajir (emigrant)

is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden."

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "The best alms is that which you give when you are rich, and you should start first to support your dependants."

Hadith - 36

Narrated Jarir bin 'Abdullah (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to mankind."

Hadith - 37

And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Qur'an from one Wise and Knowing.
Quran 27:6
 Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If any one of you
improve (follows strictly) his Islamic religion then his good deeds will be
rewarded ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and a bad deed
will be recorded as it is."

Hadith - 38

A man came to Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Who is more entitled to be treated with the best companionship by me?" The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "Your mother." The man said. "Who is next?" The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "Your mother." The man further said, "Who is next?" The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "Your mother." The man asked for the fourth time, "Who is next?" The Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "Your father. "
